Crossroad Health Center opened in 1992, with a mission to provide accessible, afordable, community-based health care and mental health counseling to underserved Over-The-Rhine residents. Emphasizing individual dignity and preventive care, Crossroad has become an increasingly important community resource, serving over 4,000 OTR neighbors in 2006.

Most of the patients at Crossroad live at the poverty level or below, and more than 35 percent are uninsured. No one is turned away because of inability to pay for services. Crossroad depends on the generosity of like-minded individuals and organizations to further our outreach and continue our Christian mission.
