JAMIE BERRENS NAMED CEO OF CROSSROAD HEALTH CENTER
February 22, 2016
It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of James J. Berrens as Chief Executive Officer of Crossroad Health Center, effective immediately.
Jamie has served as Crossroad's Interim CEO since May 2015. He joined the Crossroad staff in Sept. 2010 as Chief Financial Officer, a position he held until May 2015. Jamie brings to the CEO role a wealth of knowledge and expertise. As CFO, he was accountable for all financial aspects of running a Federally Qualified Health Center. More recently, as Interim CEO, Jamie oversaw all aspects of the successful operation of a multi-site health center with more than 70 employees. During that time, Jamie gained the trust and respect of the staff as he led the organization through a challenging transitional phase.
Going forward, Jamie will focus on enhancing Crossroad's infrastructure to better support a thriving organization, and implementing a strategic plan to take Crossroad to the next level of excellence.
Please join me in congratulating Jamie, and wishing him the best as he continues to fulfill the mission of Crossroad -- to give honor to Jesus Christ by providing accessible, comprehensive health care in partnership with our patients and community, leading to healthy, changed lives. The board and I thank you for your continuing hard work and support of the special mission we are blessed to fulfill at Crossroad.
Sincerely,
Orson Austin, MD
Chair, Board of Trustees
