Crossroad Names Clarissa Wallace Employee of the Year

Clarissa Wallace, medical assistant at Crossroad’s Harrison office, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Heather McNamara Employee of the Year award.

Clarissa consistently exemplifies Crossroad’s team spirit. From helping coworkers, to cleaning and stocking all the exam rooms, to running patient support programs, she is a friend to everyone, and is always willing to help anyone in any way she can.

Everything Clarissa does contributes to creating a thriving workplace culture. She consistently goes above and beyond, taking great care of all the providers and staff at Harrison. She always offers to cover for absent team members and does a spectacular job training and welcoming others to Crossroad. Clarissa even makes time to personalize and decorate the clinic with a new theme each month. Following Crossroad’s faith-based mission, she sets an example with her growing faith and encourages others in their faith journey.

The Heather McNamara Employee of the Year award is named after former employee Heather McNamara, who was Crossroad’s electronic medical records coordinator. Highly talented and driven, Heather believed deeply in our mission and was dedicated to the patients we serve. She was taken from us far too soon. To honor Heather’s memory and to encourage excellence, each year Crossroad selects a worthy employee to receive the Employee of the Year award named in her honor.
