Crossroad Awarded Gold Level Recognition for High-Quality Services

The 2024 Gold Health Center Quality Leader award highlights the outstanding care provided by Crossroad to its patients, putting us in the top 10 percent of all health centers in the nation.

Crossroad Health Center was recognized as a 2024 Gold Health Center Quality Leader by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) for services delivered in 2023. HRSA is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

HRSA’s quality leaders are selected from all health center programs and lookalikes across the nation that report clinical quality measures through the Uniform Data System (UDS), which includes more than 1,300 federally qualified health centers across the United States. Crossroad is one of only 145 health centers in the nation to be recognized with a Gold Quality Leader award, placing us in the top 10 percent in the U.S. for our clinical and quality measures, and one of nine in Ohio to receive this recognition of excellence. Receiving this award underscores our commitment to caring for those most in need in our community. We believe that no one should be denied access to high-quality health care, no matter what their income status is.

“I am pleased and proud to receive this recognition for the outstanding care we provide to our patients for the second year in a row,” says James J. Berrens, Crossroad CEO. “Our goal is to provide excellent care to everyone who walks through our doors. Our staff consistently goes above and beyond for our patients. ”

To earn a National Quality Leader badge, health centers must meet all criteria for one or more clinical quality areas: behavioral health, cancer screening, diabetes health, heart health, HIV prevention and care, and maternal and child health.
