Substance Use Treatment
Crossroad offers specialized treatment for patients with a substance use disorder.
Many of our health care providers offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT). MAT combines the use of medication and behavioral health therapies to treat substance use disorder, sustain recovery and prevent overdose.
If you are battling an opioid or alcohol addiction, talk with your Crossroad health care provider about MAT. These medications can help reduce your cravings and prevent relapse. And our on-staff counselors can teach you new ways to overcome your addiction. Don’t let shame or fear of being judged hold you back. Crossroad providers will support you every step of the way toward a healthier and happier life.
If you are a Crossroad patient and have a family member who is fighting an addiction, they can be treated with MAT at Crossroad. MAT for opioid use disorder (such as with buprenorphine/naloxone, also known by the brand name Suboxone) is currently available only at our Over-the-Rhine site. MAT for alcohol use disorder (such as with naltrexone, also known by the brand name Vivitrol) is available at all sites.
