Trixie Aguila

Family Nurse Practitioner
Trixie Aguila, FNP, is a certified family nurse practitioner who cares for children and adults. Trixie completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Northeastern University in 2012 and then earned her Master of Science in nursing from Cedarville University in 2023. She has gone on two medical mission trips including Guyana and Guatemala and is passionate about providing Christ-centered care to bring healing of the body, mind and spirit.
Hillary Chang

Pediatric Physician
Dr. Hillary Chang attended medical school and completed her pediatrics residency in Cincinnati. After residency, she worked at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center emergency department before moving to a small town in rural Indonesia, where she lived with her husband and children for three years. Dr. Chang is a proud mom to two spirited kids who have taught her a great deal about medicine and parenting. They continue to encourage her to draw more pictures, read more stories, play more basketball and to pray in earnest for God to do big things around the world. Dr. Chang is passionate about building mental wellness and improving nutrition in her patients.
Douglas Collins
MD
Family Physician
Douglas Collins, MD, received his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine, and specializes in family medicine. He sees children, adults and prenatal patients. Dr. Collins also serves as Crossroad’s Chief Medical Officer, overseeing clinical performance and supervising health care providers across all locations.
Before joining Crossroad, Dr. Collins was an adjunct associate professor of family and community medicine, providing patient care at The Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati Family Medicine Center in Mt. Auburn. Previously, Dr. Collins served as medical director at Mercy Medical Center in Cambodia. He and his wife Heidi have also worked in Guatemala and hope to continue their involvement.
“I love the broad variety of family medicine, from acute to chronic care, and integrating spiritual care and prayer into it as I am able,” Dr. Collins says. His many interests include teaching and leading discussions at church, camping and hiking with his family, soccer, guitar and songwriting, mountain biking, watercolor and acrylic painting, and reading the Bible.
Sarah Fenstermaker

Behavioral Health Counselor
Sarah Fenstermaker, MSW, LSW, graduated from Wright State University in 2010 and from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2012. Sarah has worked in the mental health field for more than 10 years in different capacities. For the past six years, Sarah has been focused on integrative care within the physical health care system to better treat patients as a whole. She helps people be the best version of themselves.
Pets, music, food and travel best describes what Sarah does outside the clinic. She likes to dabble in her family roots and finding her green thumb outside in the dirt. Sarah is proud to create a safe space for those to be able to open up about what is going on in their lives.
Melody Lee
MD
Pediatric Physician
Melody Lee, MD, is a pediatrician who joined Crossroad in September 2023. She received her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and completed her residency in pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center and Hospital. Dr. Lee enjoys taking care of children of all ages and is especially passionate about mental health, nutrition and adolescent medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys singing, exercising, trying out new restaurants and spending time with her husband watching their favorite soccer team, Arsenal.
Sarah Love

Family Physician
Dr. Sarah Love completed her family medicine residency training in Wichita, Kansas, at Via Christi Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Love also is on faculty with UC/The Christ Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program, teaching obstetrics, prenatal care, newborn care and delivering babies. “Being a physician is one of my life’s greatest privileges,” Dr. Love says. “My faith in Jesus Christ gives purpose to everything that I do in medicine.” Dr. Love is passionate about women’s health and obstetrics, health care in low-income urban populations, addiction medicine and chronic pain management.
Whitney Lynn
FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Whitney Lynn received her doctoral degree from the University of Kentucky in 2017. She focuses on preventing health problems before they begin, and she works to promote health literacy. Whitney helps patients expand their understanding of health so they can easily share their needs and goals. She has traveled to Ecuador twice on medical mission trips. In her free time she enjoys being outside in nature, traveling, trying out new recipes and spending time with her friends, family and dog.
Valerie Mbacke
FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Valerie Mbacke holds a master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner and a doctorate of nursing degree from Walden University. Previously, she worked with adults as a cardiovascular ICU nurse, and as an RN supervisor at an extended care facility. Today, Valerie is happy to fulfill a lifelong dream of working in pediatrics at Crossroad. Valerie grew up in Mississippi, where she went to health centers similar to Crossroad as a child. She has always wanted to give back by working in an underserved community. Valerie and her husband enjoy spending time with their young son.
Allison Ng
MD
Family Physician
Dr. Allison Ng completed her MD at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and her family medicine residency at The Christ Hospital and the University of Cincinnati. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Ng has served on short-term global health trips to provide health care in rural Guatemala. A strong interest in refugee well-being has led her to assist refugees in various capacities. “I was drawn to Crossroad because I believe all people should have access to good health care regardless of their ability to pay,” Dr. Ng says. “I am also a West Side native and look forward to practicing in the place where I grew up.” When Dr. Ng is not working, she enjoys traveling with her husband, trying new restaurants, knitting and Zumba.
Amanda Nguyen
PA-C
Physician Assistant
Amanda Nguyen is a physician assistant who cares for children and adults. She graduated from Miami University with a degree in kinesiology and earned a master’s in physician assistant studies at Mount St. Joseph University. Before starting her journey at Crossroad, Amanda worked for a federally qualified health center in Ohio for more than two years and is excited to continue serving this community.
Faith is very important in her life. Amanda attends The Oaks Church, and loves to cook and to try new restaurants in Cincinnati. She has a huge passion for travel and has visited six out of seven continents, with a goal of exploring all seven.
Evan Onusko

Family Physician
Evan Onusko, MD, is a family physician who graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at the Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati. He sees children, adults and prenatal patients. Dr. Onusko practiced medicine with underserved patients in rural Guatemala prior to joining Crossroad. He is fluent in Spanish and has a special focus on partnering with patients to help them reach their best possible health. Additionally, he teaches as an adjunct assistant professor of family medicine at the University of Cincinnati.
Susamma Pappachan

Family Nurse Practitioner
Susamma (Susan) Pappachan, FNP, is a certified nurse practitioner who sees adults. She completed her master’s degree at Xavier University, Cincinnati in 2015. Susan has worked as a nurse practitioner since 2016 in urgent care and family practice settings. She was a registered nurse for 16 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner.
Susan is committed to treating all her patients with equality, compassion, respect and kindness. She says, “Building a strong patient-provider relationship is essential in providing the best possible medical care for each patient.” Susan is excited to carry on the mission of Crossroad in her hometown.
Sue Paul

Pharmacist
Sue Paul, RPh, is a pharmacist who joined Crossroad in January 2016. She earned her pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati. Sue works with adults and is passionate about reducing the reliance on medication whenever possible through lifestyle education. She works diligently to ensure that patients can afford their medications. Sue and her husband, Ted, have four adult children. In her spare time, you will find Sue on a walk with friends or reading a book.
Michelle Randall

Physician's Assistant
Michelle Randall is a family medicine physician assistant who sees children and adults. She completed her training in 2018 at Northwestern University in Chicago. Prior to joining Crossroad, she spent five years working at a federally qualified health center in Kansas City, primarily caring for recent immigrants. Fluent in Spanish, Michelle enjoys getting to know her patients and their families, learning about their culture, and helping them meet their health goals. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two young children.
Courtney Roberts

Dr. Courtney Roberts graduated from Harvard University and received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine & Public Health. He is especially interested in caring for people with diabetes.
Christina Schneider

Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist
Christina Schneider, MSW, LISW-S, is an integrated behavioral health therapist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, providing pediatric mental health services at Crossroad Health Center. Christina completed her master’s in social work at The Ohio State University and her bachelor’s in psychology at Miami University of Ohio. She has more than 10 years of clinical experience serving children and families in Greater Cincinnati and Columbus.
Christina uses evidence-based treatments to address a variety of mental health conditions, such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma- or stressor-related disorders, and attachment disorders. Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves animals, painting and gardening.
Abigail Tomlinson

Nurse Practitioner
Abby Tomlinson, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner who sees children, adults and prenatal patients. She completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Cedarville University in 2014. After working several years in adult and pediatric acute care, OB care and taking travel nursing assignments across the country, Abby went back to earn her Master of Science in nursing from Cedarville in 2022. She is passionate about holistic care for patients and families across the lifespan and loves taking time to educate patients on how they can better care for their own health. In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing violin and working on hobbies such as gardening and beekeeping.
