Peter Rice
Peter Rice received his initial BS Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in Boston, and over the years earned additional degrees from The Ohio State University (PhD Pharmacology), the University of Kentucky (PharmD) and the University of Colorado (MS Palliative Care).
Before joining Crossroad, Peter had an academic career of research and teaching as a professor at the East Tennessee State University College of Medicine and the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy. Peter also served as the consulting pharmacist at Denver Indian Health and Family Services, an urban clinic serving the Native American community in Colorado.
Peter sees each patient as an interesting individual, bringing their unique experiences and response to disease and medication. He enjoys working with patients to optimize their medications.
Peter has four children and seven grandchildren – four in Cincinnati – to keep him busy outside of clinic. He enjoys amateur radio (K4PJR) and bicycling. He’s biked across a number of states, including Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, New York and Michigan.
